CSZ LEVEL 1: INTRODUCTION TO IMPROV
In this seven (7) week course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of improv. CSz Level 1 classes are the gateway for adults to all things ComedySportz. Previous improv experience is not necessary. Our classes feature a level and nurturing playing field.
You will have a fun time in a supportive environment, while learning improv the CSz Way. Whether you’re looking to improve your public speaking skills, meet new people, or just have a great time and even smell better, we’d love to have you. Learning the foundations of improv with CSz will equip you with valuable skills that will help you live your best life.

CSZ LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE IMPROV GAMES AND STRUCTURE
This seven (7) week intermediate class is for people who have completed Improv Level 1, or who have a limited amount of experience with improvisation. The focus of this class will be on creating and sustaining improvised scenes. It will also further explore improvising characters, status, and environment, as well as introducing new performance-level games.
As we believe that audience feedback is one of the best ways to learn, this workshop will culminate in a final performance to which students may invite friends and family.

CSZ LEVEL 3: DYNAMIC IMPROV AND RHYTHM
This seven (7) week performance level class is designed for people who have completed Improv Level 2 or who at least have some experience performing improvisation for an audience. In addition to introducing rhyming and wordplay, this class will teach styles, games and approaches to performing for a live audience. This workshop will culminate in a final performance to which students may invite friends and family.

NEW OFFERING: CSZ LEVEL 4: ADVANCED SCENE WORK
This seven (7) week performance level class is designed for people who have completed Improv Level 3 or who have extensive experience performing improvisation for an audience.
Advanced Scene Work will focus on the core of all improv games: fully developed characters and relationships. This course will spend time fine-tuning the specifics of scene work, focusing more on the depth of characters and how they interact with each other. This course will also introduce concepts of Long form improvisation, which will help develop characters and scene details even more.
From there, we will apply the prior game-style principles from our other courses to round out this course. The class will culminate in a public performance showcase, utilizing both short form and long form games and styles.

REC LEAGUE: COMEDYSPORTZ
This seven (7) week performance level workshop is designed for people who have completed all prior Levels (1-4) or have received prior permission from the CSz Artistic Staff.
ComedySportz Rec League focuses on teaching the ComedySportz method of show creation, using improv games and techniques to create a full ComedySportz match.
Participants will perform in at least three Main Stage performances to showcase those skills with interactive audiences utilizing the ComedySportz format.The session will end with a public performance of Rec League vs The Professional Team where you can showcase your skills in one of our regularly scheduled performance slots.
