CSz INDIANAPOLIS IMPROV CLASSES

ComedySportz has been named one of the top improv comedy schools in the country by Paste Magazine. CSz improv and applied improv classes are a fun, supportive way to learn improvisational thinking, gain self-confidence, develop business soft-skills and meet people.

CURRENT IMPROV TRAINING, CLASSES, AND WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE

CSZ LEVEL 1: INTRODUCTION TO IMPROV

In this 6-week, virtual course you’ll learn the fundamentals of improv. CSz Level 1 classes are the gateway for adults to all things ComedySportz. Previous improv experience is not necessary. Our classes feature a level and nurturing playing field.  All classes meet digitally on Zoom.

You will have a fun time in a supportive environment, while learning improv the CSz Way. Whether you’re looking to improve your public speaking skills, meet new people, or just have a great time and even smell better, we’d love to have you. Learning the foundations of improv with CSz will equip you with valuable skills that will help you live your best life.

CSZ LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE IMPROV

This intermediate class is for people who have completed Improv Level 1, or who have a limited amount of experience with improvisation. The focus of this class will be on creating and sustaining improvised scenes. It will also further explore improvising characters and environment, as well as introducing the elements of rhyming and wordplay.  All six sessions of Level 2 will meet digitally on Zoom.

ENROLL IN LEVEL TWO
CSZ LEVEL 3: ADVANCED IMPROV

This performance level class is designed for people who have completed Improv Level 2 or who at least have some experience performing improvisation. In addition to introducing music, this class will teach styles, games and approaches to performing for a live audience. This workshop will culminate in a final performance, presented as a Zoom Webinar, to which students may invite friends and family.  All 6 class sessions, including the final performance, will meet digitally on Zoom.

CSZ LEVEL 4: MASTER LEVEL CLASSES

This performance level class is designed for people who have completed all prior Levels (1-3) or have received prior permission from the CSz Artistic Staff.  This class will have a different theme each semester.  Topics will include Musical Improv, Long Form Improv, and other topics.  This workshop will culminate in a final performance to which students may invite friends and family.

ComedySportz Rec League IMPROV Level 4.2– This performance level class is designed for people who have completed all prior Levels (1-3) or have received prior permission from the CSz Artistic Staff.  This semester covers the performance of ComedySportz, an improvised comedy event for audiences of all ages.  The workshop will include a blend of classes and live performances, presented as Zoom Webinars, and professional feedback from instructors.  Lead by two CSz Indianapolis Instructors
