IMPROV-BASED LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT FOR GRADE SCHOOL CHILDREN
QUALITY KIDS. QUALITY PARENTS. QUALITY TIME.
TRYING TO FIND AN ALTERNATIVE TO MINDLESS SCREEN TIME?
You want to spend quality time with your kids. What parent doesn’t? You’ve read the articles telling you the do’s and don’ts of raising children. However finding ways to bond has somehow become incredibly hard. Like you, we are frustrated with the effort required to defeat the mindlessness of Minecraft or watching Frozen for the 67th time! It’s become even harder with “social distancing” to even interact with other families.
What is really being formed in their formative years? How do we overcome these challenges?
If you get concerned that parents are not active enough in their child’s development, Phyz Ed is for you.
WHAT IS PHYz ED?
PHYz ED is a guided, interactive session of exploring and learning led by the experts from CSz Indianapolis. Sessions are thirty minutes, three times a week, and conducted online using the Zoom platform.
WHO IS IT FOR?
At the moment, PHYz ED is available for kids in first through third grade.
WHAT ARE OTHERS SAYING ABOUT PHYz ED?
My kid alternates between running laps around the house and climbing all over me. He’s an only child and obviously missing a chance to play with other kids. I feel bad for him, but also for myself. I feel cooped up and missing my social life too!
Phyz Ed gave us both a chance to laugh, gave him some people to interact with besides me, and let me sit back and take a breath. My son went from hanging on me and poking my face to standing on his own and contributing to the activities. I’m looking for more chances to get him into remote-social interactions. Ref Frankie did a great job encouraging us to participate and made my son feel like his thought and suggestions were valuable
We had a kid event nearly every night that we had to figure out schedules, transportation, and dinners. It was frustrating was that even though we were spending time together, it was always a hassle or would take up the whole evening. Phyz Ed is different in that I feel like my kid can interact with others and have fun without making a trip and going somewhere that takes up so much time.
Our kid went from, “No, I don’t want to do it” before Phyz Ed, to “That was fun, let’s do it again!” when it was done. Going forward, we see how Phyz Ed is great option to letting our boy do something at home but still connect with others.
