COMEDY FOR EVERYONE

Each ComedySportz match is an interactive, live improv show for all-ages at the Basille Theatre, housed in the Historic Athenaeum.  We’ll count down to midnight in the Sandwich Islands (for the 7:30pm crowd) and Indianapolis (for the 10:30pm crowd).

You bring the suggestions; we’ll bring the party favors.

NO MINIMUMS

Unlike some other comedy clubs, we have no food or drink minimums at our venue. At the Athenaeum, a full-service bar is available!  And we’ll have some basic snacks like chips and candy available for purchase.

Bring a group of friends, your family, or that special someone and enjoy a night of fast, smart comedy before we count down to midnight with ComedySportz at the Athenaeum.

WILL I GET PICKED ON AT YOUR SHOW? CONVERSELY, CAN I HECKLE PERFORMERS?

While ComedySportz does require audience volunteers and suggestions, we want to be sure you’re having a good time.  It is interactive – we ask for suggestions and use volunteers to play the games – but we never force anyone to participate.  Promise.

As for heckling, be cool.  If your friend is helping us play a game, it’ll be a long, quiet ride home if you razz them too much while they’re trying to play and have some fun.  Think of this show along the lines of a theatrical performance rather than a night of stand up.
