Unscripted Classics
Beloved classic stories with the script thrown out the window. We keep the story's soul and invent everything else live on stage. Shows include A Christmas Carol, Headless Horseman, Cinderella, Hocus Pocus and The Wizard of Oz.
Improv Happy Hour
An open improv jam where anyone can hop in and play. Classic games, a low-pressure room and food and drink specials. Come to play or just watch. All levels welcome, no sign-up required.

Our Unscripted shows take tales you already know and hand them to The Wit's improvisers along with a pile of audience-written chaos. The characters stay the same. Everything else gets made up live.

Can kids come to these shows?
Many of our late-night improv shows are geared for audiences 17+. For comedy the whole family can enjoy, ComedySportz is perfect, with its clean, classy take on competitive comedy.
Do you have a two-drink minimum?
No. There are no food or drink minimums at The Wit. LaRocca's Pizza serves pizzas, sandwiches and salads all night, and we carry craft and domestic beer, wine and cider.
Will I get picked on at the show?
Our late-night improv is interactive. We ask for suggestions to jump-start every set, but we never force anyone to participate. Promise.
Can I heckle the performers?
Be cool. Think of these shows as theatrical performances rather than a night of stand-up. Shout suggestions when we ask for them, and let the improvisers take it from there.

We're at 3808 Shelby St., Suite 1, Indianapolis, IN 46227, on the IndyGo Red Line. Parking is on the south side of the building, with spillover parking sometimes available on the north side. Get directions.
