Something for Everyone — Live Entertainment at The Wit Theater
The Wit Theater is Indianapolis’s home for live comedy and entertainment, offering a lineup as diverse as the audiences who love it. Fans of deep, story-driven comedy will find their home in our Chicago-style Long Form improv — a format built on character, narrative, and the kind of spontaneous storytelling that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Prefer something with a little more flair? Our improvised game shows bring high-energy audience interaction and laugh-out-loud competition to the stage, making every guest a part of the show.

For something truly one of a kind, our Unscripted series takes beloved literary classics and throws the script out the window — keeping the story’s soul while inventing everything else live on stage. No two performances are ever the same, and that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.
And when the stage goes dark, the fun doesn’t stop. Every month, Trivia Kaboom transforms The Wit into Indianapolis’s liveliest trivia night — teams battling it out across pop culture, history, and everything in between, hosted with the sharp humor and big energy you’d expect from a night at The Wit.

DO YOU HAVE A TWO DRINK MINIMUM?
Unlike some other comedy clubs, we have no food or drink minimums at our venue. Our famous LaRocca’s Pizza kitchen serves up hot pizzas, sandwiches, and salads all night long. WILL I GET PICKED ON AT YOUR SHOW? CONVERSELY, CAN I HECKLE PERFORMERS?
While our Late Night improv does require some audience participation, we want to be sure you’re having a good time. It is interactive – we ask for suggestions to jump start every set– but we never force anyone to participate. Promise.
As for heckling, be cool. Think of this show along the lines of a theatrical performance rather than a night of stand up.
